Monique was born in Ludwigshafen, Germany. She took art classes in school and really enjoyed it. Two years ago she began drawing and painting. In 2008 she moved to Canada with her family. She was invited into a painting group where she discovered her artistic talent.

Monique paints in acrylics, watercolor, graphite and ink and she usually paints from her imagination. She creates wonderful floral paintings, animal art and she enjoys painting dragonflies. She also experiments a lot and uses many colors to create her art, and she creates art from driftwood and many other materials.

Recently, she has volunteered to paint a bird house for the art society auction, and she has painted three wooden buoys for another community project. Monique is a natural artist and she will continue to paint wonderful art.
